We are trying to discover global organizational principles of neuronal coding during visual processing. The project requires analyzing large scale data consisting of behavior and large-scale neurophysiology (using neuropixels probes). The aim is to extract the tuning of large populations of neurons in the DVR using advanced methods of machine learning and signal processing and link them to eye movements using video processing.
Who are we looking for? Highly motivated and scientifically curious students with a background in exact sciences or computer science (Physics Electrical Engineering Computer science) who are interested in studying information processing in neural systems.
